Starting Point

Every group had been given a meme, our meme was : the blue and black or white and gold dress. We started the project with brainstorming about our meme. We were contemplating optical illusions and how to mimic this in our project.


The text and the work

through brainstorming we came up with a text:

Never before has our reality been as questioned and as debated as in our society today. Through sharing experience and culture, Our reality is being redefined and shaped everyday

we printed this text in mirror image on a sign that we hung from the ceiling of the exhibition space. people could take a selfie in front of the sign on the photo the text became legible. this way we created an optical illusion
