I really liked making a drawing machine and see it come to life. At first I made a machine out of a cappucinofoamer, dishwasherbrush and some marbles, to keep the weight. This machine did not work that well. It wasn't really stabile and had the tendency to fall on it's side. On the other side, it moved into circles, which I liked. Also I thought the overall character of the machine was nice. So I continued with that idea and started to improve my first design. I replaced the dishwasherbrush, for a sponge, since this makes more contact with the floor. Also I placed a balloon, this way the machine walks in a constant rhythm, step by step. The outcome of the machine was really cheesy, so I decided to overdo it a little bit. I decided to call it De Tekenegel, which means The Drawingegel more or less.

De Tekenegel

I also made a video and put it on youtube! Please watch it over here https://youtu.be/ojVz7I_QsDM
