This project from Theo Jansen is just fascinating. He's makes whole installations of pvc pipes and with that, he creates this 'living' animals. He transforms a material, mostly used to fix things, into something beautiful and special. What I love about this project is not only the way is he using material, but mostly that he figured out, with a lot of experimentation, how these pipes could move on there own, how he could make this animal walk.
