In this image you see different kind of operating systems for computers. These technologies are contemporary because they will always renew themselves to become more user friendly. Our options will in these operating systems will expand as well. Think about it, because back in the day we could use our mobile phones for only calling and texting, now they've almost as much possibilities as a computer. They're like tiny computers that we can put in our pockets.
This image portraits a loom that is invented in the industrial era. This made weaving much more easier and faster. For the fast production of clothing or other product this was very innovative and handy. It didn't only made it go faster but it was also to create products in a larger scale. So it was very effective for mass production.
