Quote: "ben je gewoon de lul"

With the SDR I received a lot of harbour logistic, digital signals and commercial radio. There was one conversation I received and found back in the frequentiedatabase. This signal was coming from DB Schenker (voorheen Raillion) Rotterdam Maasvlakte at 167.1300. What I found interesting where the digital signals, with the hidden information. Will there be more than just public services communicate through digital signals?

Futuristic design > Bio, sustain, organic, provisionally, sound of nature.

The nutshell receiver was conceived by Erik K. Hoorn in 2028 to listen to the frequencies affecting trees and plants. There is a direct relationship between microwave-induced structural and chemical modifications of plant species studied. These data collectively demonstrate that human-generated microwave pollution can potentially constitute a stress to the plants. The nutshell receiver is meant to listen in to frequencies surrounding plants and trees as to determine their safety. The receiver itself is of a provisional design meant to be sustainable. It is widely used in agriculture to meet increasing consumer demands.

For the presentation we are going to present the receiver as a object. A model will attaracts too much attention from the design, so we are going to make a 3D printed ear. This way the design will more stand out like it is on the picture. Too see where the design is for we have to put the receiver in context. I'm searching for a graphic solution, because when I took pictures outside the surrounding was to dominant.

Unravel Radio Marathon

In the workshop we build a Miniature FM Transmitter on a beer coaster. The waves we send can be picked up on any standart FM receiver. In the morning we receive the parts and the schematic. The first FM Transmitter was build with a microphone. But it didn't work that well so we replaced it for a jack. Now it can be connected to the computer for the chatbot. Micro radio's legacy included answering questions posed by community members. What does it mean when a bot answers freqeuntly Googled questions? Micro radio stations have a long history of connecting people within communities, often serving as platforms for talk shows where people can call in to a host with their personal questions. With the creation of the Internet and the consolidation of information, people ar increasingly turning to online search engines to answer their most personal questions. These platforms provide individuals with the feeling that they have been heard, without human interaction/ Pirate Radio aggregates the most frequently asked Google search questions, responding to them using the Rogerian Method (a psychotherapy technique that answers questions with questions).
