==Before you start==
*Sublimation works only with specialized sublimation paper. Available sizes: A4, A3 or roll (approx. 60 cm wide, and as long as your require).
**Sheets of A4 and A3 sublimation paper can be bought at the Printmaking Studio desk.
*Sublimation only works with white or lightly colored synthetic fabrics or fabrics with a high synthetic composition.
*Possible file formats: jpeg, pdf, png
*Turn on the heatpress and set it to the right preset.
**Click button on top to turn on.
**Get the stylus and select the preset SUBLIMATION
**Wait until heated up.
==Basic operation==
===Machine side===
Using A4/A3 sublimation sheets:
*Insert the sheet in the Auto Sheet Feeder.
*Sublimation paper has a white and a (more or less) yellowish side. The white side is the one you need to print on. Make sure the white side faces you after insertion.
*Once inserted, the printer will recognize the sheet. On the screen check the size and click OK if correct.
Using the roll:
*On the printer, select PAPER SETTING.
*Click on Roll Paper and follow the steps.
**If you're unsure about the loading the roll, please ask a member of staff to load it for you.
===Computer side===
*Get your file on the iMac using your preferred method.
*Open your file in Preview.
*Hit Command+P or select 'Print' under 'File'
*In the Printing window, make sure Paper Size is set to your specific sheet (in this case A4)
* Click on Printer Options and open up the window at (!)
*Here, check if everything is set correctly:
**Paper Size: A4 -> Correct.
**Output Size: A4 -> Correct.
**Paper Source: Roll Paper -> Incorrect. This is usually the setting that is set wrong. In this case, we don't want the printer to take its paper from the roll, but from the tray we've just fed the A4 in.
**Click on the dropdown menu and select Auto Sheet Feeder.
**Click on Acquire Info.
**If everything seems correct, click OK
*Hit print!
