== Printing BOOKS == the most important setting and most made mistake for printing books is FLIP ON THE SHORT EDGE.
The default setting will always be Long Edge, so you need to change this.
All books should have the setting Flip on the short edge.

If you print your book as a PDF, keep in mind that Preview and Acrobat do not respect your spine.
There will be a space between the pages, so printing a photo spread will go wrong here.
If you made your book / magazine in InDesign, there is a "print booklet" option.
Check all settings. The preview should be okay. If not, do not print, but check the settings.
Indesign respects the fact that pages should have no space between them. So spreads will have no white space in the middle here.
