These three cards led us to start thinking fictional outfits for insects. Naima contributed a lot of research about how insects function their organs. One project we found it extremely intensive is the cyborg beetle. This is an experiment of implanting wires into the beetle bodies for muscles control, after the implantation, the beetle can be controlled by buttons on a raspberry pi. The developer claimed this project is designed for public security since such a controllable beetle with a camera can be comparable to a mini-drone.

This project simulated us to think about how much danger we caused to insects and how can they be protected. In our discussion, we placed a lot of attention on daily life scene of human which insect is easy to get hurt. For instance, the UV light insect killer for attracting flyers and mosquitos, the pesticides for grasshoppers, the swatter and......

We build up 6 scenarios of insects protection.
