Elective: Mimicking machines By Caroline Buis

First Lesson I wasn't there the first lesson and I missed the introduction to the wiki as well so I didn't take any pictures or notes. This will be an overall reflection of what we've done. In the first lesson the students got homework to 3d print the parts of the machine.

Second lesson In this lesson we had the 3d printed parts, and every group had different parts. We had to put them together to make the machine. Some parts didn't fit so we had to make the holes bigger etc.

Third lesson We got an explaination on how the machine works. The machine could make drawings, and we had to decide what material we wanted to use. The class was divided in groups and I chose the painting group. Jesse explained how to use the machine, which programs and what codes we had to use to make the machine do what you want. It was nice to try different things and different materials.

Fourth lesson We experimented with the machine. With ink, we made machine draw something. We tried different things and we discussed what we wanted to make with the group for the exibition.

Fifth lesson With our group we decided to combine our drawings, and we chose a summer theme. In this lesson I finished my drawing for the machine.
