Assessment
- how will students be assessed for their collective work?
- will each student do a video?
what students will be assessed for
As an assignment you'll be asked to build a tool or interface for your intervention, using web design tools.
Tools and interfaces can take the shape of a map, a game, a audio guide, a video, an animated illustration or anything else you come up with, which changes the perception or functioning of a place, in this case the location of your intervention.

- 20Jan
2 Rooms:
From 9am.
Duration for each student: 5min presentation + 5min presentation
The exercises are not an end in themselves. They are just a way to get familiar with the techniques. What I am trying to get them to do is build a tool/interface for their intervention, that can be used in a mobile phone or laptop.
Starting the coming week I will be working closer with them on this, trying that it fits and helps them with their intervention. So I was planning not assess their individual assignments, but only the intervention interface. But let me know if you think it is better to assess the assignment, but keep in mind I only have 2 hours a week with each class.
Assessment Criteria
- **knowledge:** the knowledge of the context in which the work is
developed. E.g. knowing terminology, other works, how processes work.
- **skill:** in doing web page from scratch. Mastering of css + HTML
interact
- **concepts / communication:** how the skills applied and used to
communicate ideas
- **attitude:** is the student doing research? Is s/he further exploring
the subject beyond what is taught in class.
